Waking up late

I woke up at about 2 today, ate some ice cream and was off. My mom bought a volvo c70 which was pretty cool. Monday nights are my drill nights for firefighting. We cleaned the whole department tonight. Basically all the bedrooms.. mopped all the floors. Our department is strictly volunteer so we clean EVERYTHING. I went out on a call close to the end of the night just to learn. When we arrived everything was clear and we turned around for home. Sadly i have yet to experience anything along the lines of fire/rescue yet, but my time will come. Thanks :D

Vblog

My friend Ian is making a vlog which apparently im part of. Not that anyone is reading this but its okay. Im having fun writing to myself, i love to read for myself. No firefighting this week till about monday but im having fun on vacation. The sun rises and so do I. The sun sets and im still awake. The sun rises and im asleep. What is this life. Am i supposed to be following a certain time pattern. Who told me to wake when the sun rises. Well goodnight =].

New Jersey

So me and a couple of my friends are going to new jersey today, monday was an incredible day for me. I was minding my own business sitting at the fire house, when the alarm went off. My heart started racing thinking it was my first shot to be a hero. I threw on my boots, rolled up my pants and put on my jacket. As quick as i could i hopped into the back of that truck with Bull and J. On the way there J told me to grab a set of irons and a chemical can because there was a report of the transformer fire. When we arrived, there nothing but a bunch of smoke. Sadly enough i didn't save any lives that day, even though i was so ready. A month and a half into firefighting and i haven't seen anything serious yet. Some would be discouraged, but me... I'm just happy to find a second family, and one day to put life over someone else's. Well i'm going to get going. I still have to pack. Essentially this blog will lead on to the everyday life of a junior firefighter. Follow me and you may learn some stuff you dont know about the life of a volunteer hero.

So i went to the firehouse today, the alarm went off and my heart raced. So bad did i want to be in the truck, im ready to save lives. But then i got to thinking, maybe im not ready to see something like that. Im 17, seeing something like someone dying is hard to handle. I got home at about 3, went and sat on the dock. I love sitting there and just thinking about stuff. Im gunna head off to eat, thanks for reading.

This isnt goin to be long. Im just writing because i get these feelings.. Right now i have butterflies, Big time! I was inspired to blog by my best friends mom and she is like a second mother to me.. All this time i was looking for a release from reality. I finally found my escape. I can dream here, Theres no walls blocking me in from what i want. Well im off, another blog tomorrow i suppose. I dont know who im saying goodbye to cuz i have no followers but hopefully some come soon. Thanks :)

My first of many

I don't blog for people to read. I don't blog to tell people my life. I blog to write. Blog is a weird word but anyway. Being my first i dont want to overwhelm everyone reading this with my life so im just gunna start today. Right now im actually listening to Jason MRaz who is a very influential man. It just makes me feel like moving... Today is saw my friend get a tatoo. I really want a tatoo that has something to do with firefighting. My future career. I just Joined a fire department, and i really like going down there but sometimes its frustrating because i cant do anything for like 8 months. I can go on the trucks but according the department i cant. I dont know but i really want to see what its like. This guy there, alan, i kinda see as a new big brother... We havent talked alot but hes really cool and great to talk to to. I'm gunna go now, Sorry if im not very interesting, but follow and i promise i will keep updates on firefighting Thanks :)
